I like the Wildey as well but I found the trigger guard and edges in general a little sharp. The first time i picked one up i had visions of that bad boy slicing my hand open or giving blisters in a hurry.

Hmm interesting.. since I never found that to be true...

Maybe a rough one in your case? Can't say for sure though of course.

Gotta keep it old school!

My favorites are the old 1911's

I'm not at the point of constructing a Grand Unified Theory Of Handgun Aesthetics just yet, but the following really turn my crank:

Old 1911's built the way God and his Prophet John Moses Browning intended, with a lot of wear, that just reek of history.

Case hardened single action Armys.

Stainless revolvers with hardwood grips.

Oddly enough both chunky and sleek can work.

Things that do not turn my crank:

Gold plating, badly done scrollwork/engraving, big logos or lots of writing, grips in a material other than nice hardwood, Picatinny rails.

I have three Glocks, a Transmark Bul Storm and a Ruger P345r but haven't purchased a revolver yet.

This one really does it for me and I will have to have one sooner or later...

Hands down, the Luger P-08. I wish norinco or some other chicom manufacturer would knock out some copies, as that would likely be the closest I'd get to owning one.

A Korth revolver would probably be a distant second for me.
