Fitting VZ58 Neit Arms bolt release + extended mag release

I ordered one of the rather nifty VZ58 tactical bolt releases from Neit Arms and they have a series of pictures showing how to install.
I also picked up an extended mag release and was wondering if there is any trick to fitting it at the same time?
The instructions for the bolt release installation warn against taking the cross pin all the way out....which must be done to fit the mag release.
I'm worried that 'my #### might fall off' if the pin comes out completely, sending various parts and springs off into the unknown...
Any help would be appreciated.

There's one spring for each piece.

Remove the retaining clip and push the pin out to one side, doesn't matter which. Replace that part, then push the pin back through and replace the other one. That way you only have one piece loose at at time.

I had assumed as much, but it's always better to hear it from someone else before attempting it...and it ending in tears...bitter accusations....deep, heartbreaking sobs.

Just says to not remove the pin fully so you don't remove the mag release... unless of course you want to, then remove away, Yer #### will remain in place....

I managed to accomplish said task....while keeping everything where it should be.
Kudos for the well engineered and manufactured 'bits' that make life easier....
