Who does one have to blow/know to get on the Oct 16th Sharon "VIP" match list?

Ya... like the title says...

The Sharon match is closed for sign up yet only a few slots left for the Saturday early morning Squads.

Yah, I know... Their match... their rules of how sign up is handled.

Maybe this is a "secret" charity match and one needs to send in their $35 to get on the list.

Well I don't suck or blow anyone just for a match lol it not that important:eek::eek::eek:

I'm never one to say no but I won't likely be around between working weekends and I'll just be getting back from the US Nationals and I'm not even signed up or helping with this one. I may try to shoot it on the fly on Sunday but that's if there's room.

Well.... Me!!! But if your a dude you must sub-in a female...5'2"-5'6", 100-120, don't care
about hair color or skin, must be attractive smiling. I also make no promises regarding a slot in the match, but I'll see what I can do.

The email notification sent to everyone subscribed to the club event. If you haven't got the email, you just out of luck.

Dom was manually pre-registering people who offered to help, before opening the match up to everyone else.

Now, several people have told me this type of practice was "illegal" under (some?) IPSC rules, but the accuracy of that statement is not for me to comment on - I don't know.

I have just been looking through the current rules and don't see anything to prevent that. We used to have in the Principles the very first principle in fact, Practical competition is open to all Reputable persons without regard to occupation. Many have misread what this means but it was intended to keep IPSC from being practiced in countries that do not allow civilian ownership of guns and therefore gov't only, ie. Military and police only, practicing of IPSC would not be allowed. However that is not in our rule book anymore and there don't appear to be any rules regarding entries to a match.
In all honesty this has always gone on, the people who work to set up or run a match were always signed up prior to the match, the difference now is that we can see it on the online sign up site.
The easy solution is to volunteer to help out, then you too can be signed up early.

$50 huh? how about $15 and I'll let you carry my range bag?

I have heard to stay away from your bag, not sure what those girls meant exactly but they didn't look that happy when they said it. They also said you stiffed them and they want their money. The big dude with the convertable caddy with fuzzy dice and furry seats seemed real mad too. He did have a way cool gold plated 50 Desert Eagle in his waste band though. :slap:
