i have recently bought a rem 760. i have been looking at the after market stocks for these. the one i have found is a cheap ram-line 2 piece stock.

wondering if these are worth buying and also i can only find one for the 7600 not for the 760. will the 7600 fit my rifle???

thanks for any input.

Yes, the 7600 will fit. The ram-line was the only one I could find as well, at least as far as the forestock goes. Any Remington shotgun stock will fit the rear, with a little sanding.(It's a little bigger) This would let you use a pistol grip stock, or even a Knoxx recoil reducing stock.

7600 will fie your 760 providing its not one of the earlier ones where the is a shotgun like tube running through the forend, with a cap on the end.

The Ram-Line stock isn't that bad, I had one on mine (760 Carbine) for years because the original stock was pretty beat up......just went back to a walnut stock recently because of a sweet deal here on the EE.....the stock you're speaking of is interchangeable (760-7600)
