Canadian Tire Greatness

I just read this entire thread and gave each post its due.... thinking maybe.... maybe it was going somewhere interesting.....damn it I want my 15 or 20 minutes back.
I went to A&W drivethrough last month and they didn`t give me a straw and the papa burger I ordered was a mama. I didn`t go back and raise hell... I drove away without checking and got jipped. I wasn`t too pleased.
But this week they gave me fries AND onion rings with my burger and pop.... I didn`t pay for the rings. Once again I did not return to correct the issue as I was already on my way. This time I was pleased. Was I setting myself up for a spot in heaven last month and a place in hell this month... or will I be stuck in purgatory.... or did I just have to pull the lid off the strawless cup one day and enjoy my ####ing onion rings another ...... f:P:2:
 
Really, who cares what some internet stranger thinks? The OP feels he behaved appropriately (with which I agree). Who cares in the slightest what some random person writes about you on the internet? For all everyone knows the people screaming the loudest about morals and ethics are all child ### offenders pretending to be on a high horse. Obviously I don't think they are but I would never worry about what they have to say about me. If CT did the same thing tomorrow I would buy out all their stock and if they put out more at the same price tomorrow I would clean them out again... It's not my job nor moral obligation to make sure CT gets their systems in order. If they can't operate a competitive and well managed business they deserve to go bankrupt and make way for someone who can... Since they've been around for a while I suspect they will manage to survive this terrible moral and ethical attack...

Geez Lousie, what ever happened to the value of character. regardless of the op being right or wrong, challanging guys to be better characters is something most post here want nothing to do with, atta go boys.
 
a) Value of good character
b) Arguing on the internet.
One is truly priceless, the other is the most gigantic waste of time ever.

What's the ol' saying... don't argue about what a good man should be, be one?
 
Good buy dude. Don't listen to the haters. We all know that 95% of the complainers in this thread would have walked out the door with a huge smile on their face if the same thing happened to them. To be honest, the only reason I hold any animosity towards you at all, was because you scored the deal instead of me. :D
 
This happened to me a while back too with a box of 22 at Can Tire.

I even said to the cashier lady... that cant be right, you are probably charging me for 50 and not 500.

She says........ "I scanned the item, thats the price, what do you want from me?"

I got a good deal that day.

If I average it out, it makes Can tire a great place to buy ammo over time.
