I've found that Remington Yellow Jackets are extremely accurate in my 10 22 with a 16" Dlask barrel. Occasionally I have a FTF and must pry the round out. I understand the CCI Stinger is a bit longer than standard .22 ammo, but is the Yellow Jacket also. Don't want to mess up this barrel so any info would be welcomed.

if the barrel is chambered for 22LR then you should have no problem with CCI stingers feeding thru your 10/22.although they are a very fast round i have found out of most guns the accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.

Have you upgraded to a VQ extractor yet? I'm guessing this $15 part will solve your extraction issue. Both of my 10/22's with custom barrels love the YellowJackets as well.

You've shot most guns? I am humbled by your presence.......

In mho, out of my 10/22 I get too many FTF with Yellow Jackets to justify the price. I find it frustrating.

The VQ extractor is definitely a worthy upgrade. What I find most accurate, like sub looney sized groups at 50y, is the Dynapoint "Target" in the black box at Can Tie. Very low FTF rate too. They are 1150fps, and maybe that's why they are more accurate... I don't know... and they are dirty, but dayum they shoot nicely!

I have shot stingers out of the Ruger, even though the manual specifically says not to. They seem to load and fire just fine, but I don't make it a practice. They are more fun to shoot from the pistol anyways :~))

I did install a VQ extractor and target hammer, which by the way really reduced the trigger alot. That is worth every penny of the $36. I never had a FTF with Federal Bulk from Wally, just wanted to try the YJ and found them to be more accurate. I'll shoot what I got and go back to the Fed's. Thanks

My 31 year old 10/22 loves them all. Yellow Jackets seem to dislike aftermarket hi-cap magazines but otherwise, I never have any fails.

"...is the Yellow Jacket also..." No. Remington's QC had gone down though.

That said :yingyang: , I am so totally enthralled by the CeeBee rounds that I'm willing to let "let" most Remington omissions slide....

They cycle both of my Remington 550-1's in semi-automatic  , and so Remington's kinda redeemed itself in some small way.....:D

Stingers have a longer case than regulal LR, Stingers should not be fired in target chambers for that reason

Totally false. The 10/22 manual specifically says not to fire stingers in the target model. 100% A-OK in the regular 10/22. Just checked the manual now.
