butler creek mag loader,any feedback ?

I bought one but don't even use it. It works but its not any faster than your thumb. I don't think its worth it.
Same here, my wife loves it more then I do also, makes it easier for her to load her 25 rounds.

You will have a learning curve in getting it to operate well, once you get yourself tuned in, it can't be beat. As geologist says, it will eat up bulk packs when using 25 round magazines.
I don't get all the negs on this product. I love it X 100. I have owned one for about 5 years. I only use it for the 25 rd. mags. It works flawlessly and you don't get bullet residue all over your hands. I also like it in winter when my hands are too cold to load. The only neg on that device is you burn through much more ammo...

I have the Shooter's Ridge equivalent. A little finicky and tends to be quite difficult to get a Ruger 10-rounder started, but I definately like it for my BC 25-round mag. Much faster once the first round is in, and keeps a lot of lead and grease off my fingers (and by extension, off my gun/gear)
they work pretty well once you get the hang of them, but they also will wear out sooner than you'd expect.
I have a stony point one that is a bit slower, will fall apart in your hands a few time before you figure out that it needs to be epoxied together at it's clip points, but does not seem to wear out the same way, so I'd give a reserved preference for the stony point one over the BC.
they are definitely easier and faster than thumb loading.

It should work with tactical Innovation mags.
My other question still up,work well with tactical mags ?
Mine works fine with the TI25 comp. mags.

One more thing:
If you have a half dozen BC 25 round steel lips mags, they can all be loaded in perhaps 10 minutes on your way to the gopher field using one of these loaders. Try that with thumbs only!
By the way, my friend and I did an informal race and the Stony Point and BC loaders were pretty much a tie.
If you take the time needed to learn the quirks of the loader, it will repay you many times over, esp. if you're a butter fingers.
One more thing:

It works, but I've found that I was able to load the 10/22 mags easier and faster by hand. Loaded three 25rd mags repeatedly (about 250rds), alternating between the mag loader and just using my fingers. I have tiny fingers so it isn't that much of a pain to load. I noticed with the loader that I would just grab ammo by the handful and place it inside without checking the ammo for imperfections...leading to jams in the magazine or firearm.
It seems like a good purchase, even if it sits with your gear unused most of the time...it can definitely come in handy in certain situations (outdoor ranges in the winter).
