I am very impressed with the quality of my Black Badge pin! Has my BB number and full name engraved on it. I paid only $170 which included three days of some excellent training, a membership to IPSC and this pin. If anyone is on the fence about the Black Badge course I can tell you it is well worth it!

Looks like mine,..has my black badge number on it. It is of better quality than my Federal gov't 10 year pin....LOL.

The course was great fun, the instruction was excellent, the qualifier match was a great amount of fun.

Wait until you compete at a few matches at a few clubs, most guys seem to have forgotten that the match is for fun on your hard earned day's off.

Lots of dinks in the sport and will spoil your weekend, leaving you wishing you stayed home and cut the grass.

DOH!!!!!!!!!

There are a few ripe ones out there, of that there is no doubt!

Unfortunately, those same personality types will be in every sport you partake in, and also in the people you deal with on a daily basis.......get over it, and just ignore them!

Hey guys, where might one take this BB course that is anywhere near the GTA?

The closest one coming up on the IPSC Ontario page is in Ottawa on November 26 but others can pop up. If you email the BB Coordinator and also the one who taught me my course, he will get back to you and let you know when one comes ups closer if Ottawa is too far....

RA Gun Club, Ottawa

When I last corresponded with Kent, he mentioned two possible BB courses in the GTA, sometime in November.. Nothing finalized, but Aurora and Barrie were two under consideration.

So I guess I should just pack it in? If it's all the same all I have seen so far is guys having fun and willing to help out on the drop of a dime.
