OMA Products cast bullets...yes or no?

This wife and husband shop is local, or was (they were moving to PG). But apparently still have stock in the local area. Has anybody used their products before.
I'm looking at their 9mm and .45

The guy that bought it reopened on Van Island and made lots of great bullets, but is or has relocated to PG. He's likely back into production by now, but I'm not sure.

I think that you might be getting people mixed up. The most recent OMAH bullets was in Nanaimo and had excellent bullets; I definitely recommend them. The operator I believe is currently working at 100 Hundred Mile House after a stint in Prince George and hopefully will restart his business once settled in. Ten X bullets was also on Vancouver Island and was sold to someone in the Courtney area, unless I am mistaken, and presumably is in operation from that area. John, the previous owner of Ten X is still casting round ball but will only be selling them at rendezvous. I have not shot the newest iteration of Ten X bullets but suspect they will also be of excellent quality.

I was talking about OMA when it was on East Hastings, lost track of it after that.
 
I use OMA bullets in 45acp and 45-70. Great bullets. I'm not sure when Marc is going to get set up again, but I hope it's soon.

By the way, this guy was taken with an OMA 405gr cast bullet last week:

We are still in business :D

And I have no plans on selling the business or shutting it down. Contrary to the many rumours floating around.

I have been working in Prince george the past nine months and the business has been somewhat idle since I have been away. I have this past friday accepted a full time position in 100 mile House. And will be in 100 Mile House from the 25th of October permanently.

Our house and shop in Nanaimo has finally been sold after 5 months on the market. And we will be setting up shop again in 100 mile. Once we get the machines set up it will be back to full time production of our complete line of bullets.
I am going to expand the line to also include bullets with blackpowder shooters in mind. These bullets will be much softer than our 7% antimony mix which has a hardness of 20-22 bh.
After some recent tests with original cartriges from a few of our customers. I have found that the original lead hardness was around a 6-7bh. Measured on my hardness tester.
I am going to try and similate as close to the original specs for cartriges such as the 44-40, 45-70, 38-55 slugs. These will be lubed using SPG or another lube suitable for use with blackpowder. Packaging these bullets so the lube will not get everywhere is posing a problem right now. But we will work out a way to ship.
Look for us at the Annual Kamloops 2 day show. And other local shows.

We appologise to our customers for any lack of stock at the current time. Its been hard to keep up stock and work away from home. Things will be back to normal soon thankfully. We do have some stock on hand including 9mm, 38's, and cowboy bullets. But only in limited quantities until we get set up.

As said above, HENRY opened up on east HASTINGS(vancouver) in the'70s. He got me into reloading for handguns. 9mm/357/44mag. always great products. i could always buy 100 projectiles to try out a new load. The fellow here on vancouver island can no longer be reached at his listed number. he was usually at the DUNCAN gun shows. note, i believe HENRY of OMA was the first person to get FEDERAL APPROVAL to sell reloaded handgun ammo out of his shop. I just recently realized that Marc and I were practically neighbors, so I just purchased a 500 lot of .38 160gr RNs. While doing a face to face deal I got to see some of his products and I am impressed with the quality and attention to detail. I like the 405gr 45-70 bullet and can't wait to try it in my Guide-Gun.
I have used OMA bullets previously and they were great, so I'm quite happy that Marc is back at it and local to boot!
 
Marc, you might want to consider offering some of those soft lead bullets without lube on them. Most BP guys are set up to lube their own, or are at least familiar with pan lubing.

I for one am looking forward to getting bullets lubed with SPG. I pan lube now, but it is a PITA. Glad to hear that OMA is expanding their line.
I did contact them by the way, and they will sell unlubed bullets if that is what you want.
