Frontenac IDPA Fall match Oct 30th

Or we could openly discuss my glock and the fantastic service I have received from them. :(

I may like Glock, but I concur they have not been fair to you.

However, for a small fee, I can take that dirty Glock off your hands...:p

And seriously, with all the joking around, the match should be a hoot! I suspect my Glock and I will take a beating...:D

Confidence my man. Listen, I have a few ideas regarding distracting the other non-Glock shooters. Don't worry we will be up there on the leader board!

I can't be the champion..... I only go to them once a year. :p

I used the G34 last weekend. I'll have the DeFoor sights set up on the Gen4 for the OST course on the 30th though. :)

Those are interesting sights. I was at Williams Arms today and there was a Kimber I held that had them. Let me know how it goes. I find it strange to have everything blacked out like that but I have seen guys at IPSC using them and shooting very well.

I played around with them a little when I first installed them and really like the sight picture. But I found they were a little off so before I use the gun in a match, I want to make sure they're right on.

For me (and others disagree, but what ever), I don't see the need for night sights on a game gun. I can use the money saved for more ammo, or a mag pouch, or holster, or a match fee, what ever.

Now, depending on the target, all black sights could blend in and make it hard to be precise. But Ameriglo has some great front sights with orange and green hi-vis coloring on them. I'll probably try one of those next, along with a set of Warren Tactical sights.

I have settled on Hi-Viz front sights with Green as the best colour for me as this colour seems to attrack my eye the best in daylight. The Hi-Viz brand appear to be fairly stout and I have yet to break one in matches.

The only time I take my SP-01 with Night Sights out is when we have night shoots. We had one two years ago and seeing your sights at night through the fog of smoke is a challenge to say the least. If your range allows night shoots it is worth trying. We had a lot of fun with ours. We brought Coleman lanterns to light up the back of the shooting pits.
