i shot someone elses AR this weekend with an AFG on it - for those of you who haven't try it give it a shot!! I really liked it, it was so comfortable and I much prefer it to the handgrip which I find myself wanting to grab the handgaurd/grip in a hybrid fashion anyway

i tried that as well, but the afg for me is a perfect match - wish it would look good on my swiss cqb!

+1 for the AFG.

I always used a vertical foregrip as an index point and when I saw the AFG it just made sense (to me).

Any excuse to buy Magpul koolaid is fine with me

I haven't tried the AFG but agree on the stubby. I bought two new stubbies recently to replace the regular size ones I had. Now all this AFG talk makes me sick as I can't just keep buying new things. I find the stubby lets your hand and forearm keep a more natural angle than the longer forend grips. I assume this is what the AFG does but I can't see the difference worth me buying one right now. Who knows, I may change my mind. My problem is I rarely sell anything gun related so the other grips would just sit there for my kids to do with what hey wish after I pass.
