Just curious if anyone has any experience with these lowers.
They are offered by one of our forum sponsors "Blue Line Activities".

I'm looking to finally get building my AR and need a base to work from.

Any info would be great.

I'm going to say something that could cause serious repercussions on the Black Rifle forum - a lower is a lower. Seriously, as long as it's not defective (misaligned holes, or really sh*tty finishing to pin locations, or out of spec mag wells) it'll do just fine. The vast majority of lowers on the market have no issues and will work great with a good quality LPK. The fact that Blue Line's have the dealers name on it makes it easier to fix if there is a problem - you certainly know who to call!

They are Dlask lowers made for Blueline.

I have one on my LMT MRP. I found the fit is tight, real tight! I had a lot of trouble getting the front pin in the lower... the holes just didn't seem to be perfecty aligned. I didn't have to drill or file anything..... But I did use my rubber hammer and a bit of 2x4

That said, once I had it installed it works like its supposed to. All the after market parts I have tried bolt on without trouble.

Like Enefgee says, a lower is a lower.

Not the case from what I have seen.
There are many low end lowers out there that wear excessively with use and cause a lot of slop between the upper and lower, which will degrade accuracy.

This was the kind of information I was after regarding this lower, but if it is a Dlask lower then I know I will be happy with it.

Thanks for the help guys!!!

I've handled a BlueLine lower and the AeroPrecision lower. The finish and the machining on the AeroPrecision seems to be of higher quality, there are no tooling marks, everything is smooth and perfect. The BlueLine (registered as Luvo) lower does have a better flared magwell. With BlueLine's shipping cost taken into account, I think the AeroPrecision from Kodiak is a better deal, as it is cheaper, better finish, and cheaper shipping at the loss of a millimetre of extra flaring of the magwell.

The BlueLine lower my son got has an issue with the rearward takedown pin. The pin will not sit flush to the lower (as there was extra material where the takedown pin head sits). Rather than file out the material and wreck the coating we filed the take down pin head slightly to get it to miss this extra material. The LPK (by the way) was from Stag. Other than that it was fine.

I have the Blueline/Dlask/Luvo lower on a .22lr build I did for my wife. I will agree with notsorichguy, it is a tight fit. Really, other than that, a lower is a lower is a lower. And for $149, the price is right.

I have a aero precision that i just put together...very good lower, i was hesitant at buying it but glad i did now....thought of getting another just for a spare.

I don't have to deal with the shipping aspect as they are located just 5 min from my house. I just found this out last weekend and I'm sure they will see a lot more of me for quite some time.
I will look at the AeorPresision lower as well. I want to get something of high quality as this is my only AR build I PLAN on doing.

Thanks for all the information guys. If anyone has anything else to add to this I would love to hear.

I had the same issue with my BlueLine Lower. However, I have my own metal lathe so I simply took a couple thousandths off the outside of the rear takedown pin head and now it fits like a charm. No problem fitting all other lower parts and stock. I've not yet fitted it to an upper

Overall, the machining and finish on these BlueLine lowers seem to be very good.

I've used two of the BL/Dlask/Luvo AR 15 lowers before.

I had ZERO ISSUES building up these lowers with decent lower parts kits, and they fit nice and tight on all of my uppers [ RRA/LMT/Keyhole nameless ].

I've got another two of these BL lowers on order right now.

Instead of worrying over AR lowers, concentrate your time and $$$ on a quality AR upper, especially the bolt and carrier, and get a decent brand name lower parts kit.

Like I said, they put their name on it, normally that means they stand behind it - which would seem to be the case. As far as too tight goes, if it wasn't too tight I'm sure someone would have complained that they were too loose. You can please some of the people none of the time, and you can please some of the people some of the time, but don't for a second think you'll ever please all of the people at any time.

I just built and range tested two more BL/Dlask AR 15 lowers. Zero issues in building, except when I ran a drill bit into the front retaining pin spring hole, I found a bit of anodising? or metal chips? in that teensy tiny hole.

This is not a complaint .... when I build an AR 15, as part of my due diligence, I ALWAYS do the drill bit check on the retaining pin spring holes. This is not the first time I've found crap in these holes, and I'm sure it won't be the last, no matter what brand lower I use.

Everything else was absolutely perfect,
