CFSC test results?

Like it was said above past 3 weeks give them a call. Mine is still not here after almost 2 months. I filed a complaint with the Ontario Ombudsman as suggested by a fellow member and got a call from them today and I explained the situation. They said they would be contacting the CFO on my behalf and sure hope they rip them a new one as this is unacceptable. If enough of us complain about them abusing these timelines they set themselves, maybe they will be forced to just go back to the old system, and we'll be getting our results right away. I would suggest you do the same if they don't show up this week.

I am a very patient person, but i think this just smarting a bit since the instructor gave me my "unofficial" marks after he graded the tests (pal =100/100, rpal= 100/98). the only error i made was marking the wrong circle on a MC question (which really hurts because the day before i had the exact same question on the pal test)

Anyway ill give them until Friday at noon since it will be exactly 4 weeks and i will have received my Friday mail.

Is this the correct number for the Ontatio CFO? 705-329-5522

You're applying smack dab in the middle of the hunting season rush. Give it 5 weeks. I was told 4 weeks when I called, and sure enough, it was almost exactly 4 weeks.

I'm not making excuses, just relaying what I learned from a very friendly woman who works there.

If you talk to them, please ask them why they can't set up an online database for examiners to instantly populate the scores. It's almost 2011 and the whole snail mail thing is slightly embarrassing. I'm sure greentips could set one up in an afternoon if they liked, and charge less than $1 billion.

online data base your asking to much! They cant even email only fax! :stirthepot2:

Actually, when i took my tests (7 years or so ago) they signed and gave you the results right then and there. But the past 7 people I helped this year get their courses done, all said they will get it in the mail later. Some took 2 weeks some others took 5weeks.

This was all in NB
 
I was given the results verbally immediately, but it did take 3-4 weeks to get the official documents back in the mail. Girl I did the course with waited another week and only got her PAL results....still another week for the RPAL result to come in a seperate envelope. So that's 6 o 7 for her, even before we got to send in our applications. at any rate, we're both RPAL licensed now.

Edit: I did this in June or July, so well before the hunting season rush.

Call 1 800 731 4000 ext 7514 (Deb) Leave a message, they'll return your call. It's bcs we've been patient that they keep pushing our limits on how far they can go on infringing our rights and liberties. They should do their duty and not pretend they're doing us a favor and we should be so grateful and blessed for waiting on them to put the coffee down and mail a piece of paper within the year.:mad:
 
Wrote mine in Calgary. He literally graded it and handed it over within the minute I passed it in. The tests have an overlay that they set on top of you exam. If enough of the dots line up, you pass.

I'm in Ontario and the guy marked it in front of me, told me what I got wrong, and made sure I knew exactly what I had to do to send in the paperwork. I forgot to sign one thing and he even came out to my high school at lunch just so I could sign it.

That's because in bantario they specialize make each "stamp" by painstaking hand crafted expertise.. so they can be 100% sure the stamp is right on each page and could never be blurred or unreadable ever :rolleyes:
