I have a CZ 453 Varmint Fluted 17HMR and am having a a difficult time finding any rings that fit. The rail is 11mm but still some of the so called 11mm rings to not tighten down far enough and remain loose. Anybody out there having the same problem or have a solution? I'll need high rings so the bolt clears the scope (Elite 3200 4-9x40). Thanks Folks.

I got the same setup on my 453. I went to Reliable Gun and got a set of rings high enough to mount my Elite4200. Maybe give them a call.

talley rings make them for the CZ Battle River Sports in Stettler got a bunch in otherwise order direct from Talley to your door in a week, I use them on anschutz, fantastic rings.

Burris Signature rings are probably the nicest, with the Posi-align inserts. They now come with 3/8" and 11mm "legs", and you just use the ones you need.

"Rimfire and Airgun Rings" at the bottom. I've got them on my Anschutz at the moment, but they were on my 453 Varmint for a while. Definitely getting another set for the other gun. Best part is the Posi-align inserts means you don't have to worry about lapping the rings or marking up your scope, and the different offsets let you rough in your zero before moving on to the scope adjustments.

Use the same setup (can PM mysticplayer for a set). For some reason standard rings required a lot of up adjust to zero scope so the inserts allowed me to counteract that as well.

Other option is to use the B-Square dovetail to weaver adapters and use whatever ring you want.

Warne also makes a nice rimfire ring with 3/8 and 11mm settings. They look like mini Leupold PRW rings.

So what did you get to fit your scope?

I bought a CZ 453 varmint fluted barrel two days ago. Need to know. Thanks!

just went through the same problem... epps has the CZ rings...

don't buy millett angle loc, they don't fit... !!

G

Correct, angle locs won't fit...Millett .22 rimfire rings will...similar design to angle-locs, sized to fit standard .22 dovetail, but with enough adjustability to function with 11mm.

This is the answer from Chris Johns from CZ_USA. Just got it today.

Depends on the caliber.

453 Varmint .22lr - 11mm dovetail
453 Varmint .22WMR/.17HMR - 3/8" dovetail

All the best

too bad the guys at flahertys who sold me the gun didn't know that... now i'm stuck with these bogus rings..

just ordered from talley.. and they shipped same day... why is customer service such a lost idea with canadian businesses... damn.. you try to deal with them but it bites you in the butt.. like epps losing my order and my credit card nos and telling me to use the electronic form... wtf..

becareful if you order these rings in ontario... 4 dealers so far told me they had them and out right lied... just put me on the back order list

i may just get my rings before hunting season ends... wow... only 4months i had to wait
