I've never actually held or shot a Dlask 1911, but I do know they are highly sought after by American shooters and get spoken of very highly on the US 1911 forums, for what that is worth.
I'd say buy one, I don't think you can go wrong with one.
I think the fact you virtually never see them come up for sale used is a testimonial to the quality of the product. Seemingly no one wants to part with 'em....

had Joe work on my Delta elite 1911 SS and wow, great workmanship.beaver tail install, trigger, hammer etc. Very good fit and finnish and workmanship top notch.

I've handled a few, but don't own one (yet) they have all been very tight and incredibly smooth. Accuracy in the ones I've seen has been somewhere between excellent and amazing.
Joe Dlask is one of the premier 1911 builders in the world. He is better know in Europe than in Canada. If he lived 10 miles south ie on the other side of the 49th you would read about him more in the rags.
I too saw the gun on EE and couldn't believe it. For the asking price it was a steal. Having just bought a GP 100 and CX4 Storm my gun budget for now was shot.
Had mine for sale two years ago on the EE, too many low balling c**ks***ers I decided to send it for trade to a nice man who owns the upper left link on this page
I'm buying 1 but I have to figure out the pro or the pro plus.. I saw each of them and the pro is allot nicer then the basic one but the pro plus.. man its nice..
