Grew up in Idaho and Oregon shooting just about every gun made. Sold all my guns and moved to Canada almost 10 years ago and haven't fired a shot since. That is... until a few weeks ago. :D

I've now got my RPAL and ready to get back in the game. Picked up a beautiful Marlin 1895SBL on EE a few weeks back, A Fabarm 14" Martial Pro Forces 12g from Wanstalls, and looking to get a new 1911 very soon.

Welcome!

Lots of friendly and knowledgeable guys in this forum. I'm sure you will be happy here. Come visit/join the Port Coquitlam District Hunting and Fishing Club.

And if you want a new starter 1911, Norincos as cheap and plentiful here in Canada, as you are probably aware by now.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Welcome to the board.

You may be upset with how much our gun laws suck.

When I first moved to Canada I was very disappointed with the gun laws... What fun is a .22 if not fully auto?
But, I've grown to just accept the laws and enjoy some firearms while I still can.

I'm definitely going to give the Port Co. Club a try along with a couple others. Really trying to find a club that is fairly empty during weekdays.

POCO is really busy on weekends, including Friday. Monday and Thursday is usually not crowded from around lunchtime.

Closed on Tuesday and Wed, but open 7 - 9 pm on Wed, called their Rimfire night but everybody brings centerfires anyways. Members can bring one guest.

Check the POCO website http://www.pcdhfc.com/smallbore.htm

Let me know if you want to go to a rimfire night.
