Sitting in the airport now after a fun filled 6 days in Vegas. The match was apparently very difficult as I had more misses and no shoots than I can ever remember having, and still finished respectably. Congrats to Tommy and Nikita for taking 1st C and 1st B in Open, to Fatty B for finishing way up (as he always does) and being High International in L10 and to Clint for finihsing 2nd B in L10.

Weather was great, at around 30+ every day, although the heat combined with some wind made for some very dusty ranges.

Distances weren't super far, but there were some tight shots with hard cover and no shoots. I shot on the "most of the Canadians + 2 squad" and we were regularly complimented by RO's on how efficient we were at taping/resetting the stage and how everyone pitched in to do their part.

I've heard rumours that it will be back in Vegas again next year, but nothing concrete. If it is, I'd encourage people to try and go, as the travel and accomodations are cheap, and there is so much to see and do after the match (duh....it's Vegas!)

Congrats to all you folks! Good job! I heard the distances were not great, but the shots could be tight with no-shoots. I hope to go next year.

You know we walked on the range on the day before the match started to sight in and scope out the stages and our first though was "this looks pretty easy, not too many hard shots" looking at our scores after and that seemed to not be the case...lol
The standards were pretty challenging, 3 partial targets @ 15m and 2 full targets @ 25m that had to be shot one shot each freestyle on the first string and one shot each weak hand on the second string. I was one of only two on our squad to shoot it without penalties.

What happened with PD and Rev? Don't really recognize any of the names in the list

Those would be the second match, last week was Open and Limited 10 and this week is Limited, Production and Revolver.
Not sure how you don't recognize many names, there's a who's who list.
JJ, KC, Jessie A, Kay Clark M., Rob Leatham, Travis T. Max M., Phil S., Lisa M., Chris T., Jojo, D'Mac, Todd J, Dave S., Taran B. Randi R., Bob V.

Yeah checking from my BB I don't recognize any names in any of the 3 divisions that shot this week. Its like my BB is not grabbing the right results or something. Can someone post the top ten of each?

Ok I think I know why. Its not done yet is it? So its preshoots or something I am seeing.

Are you checking the LPR results, if you are they are preliminary results based on current points totals and depending on the scedule the super squad is on they may be farther down the list. For the Open/Lim 10 match they had the SS shooting the biggest stages at the end of the match so they are going through a lot of lower point stages right now and the lower ranked shooters have already shot them. We shot smaller stages on day 1 and 4 and the biggies on day 2 and 3. Best bet is to find the squad list, see what squad they are on and how they are grouped, then pull out their individual scores and compare them.
The Super Squads are 24 and 25 and looks like a mix of which division. D-Mac is shooting Prod and TGO is shooting Limited but are on the same squad. 26 is the Ladies Super Squad

Looks like Nils won Limited (Who the #### is nils?), and Sevigny reclaimed production (Nils must have been some fast,...he has a bunch of misses, etc). Looks like Dave won by almost 100pts.

Josko must have a had a rough match,...looks like he lost over 250pts in mikes and no-shoots. I heard there were some hard cover and lots of noshoot targets.

I shot with Nils last years at Area 2 where he lost to Dave S. by 5 points, suffice it to say, if you don't know who Nils is, you will soon. He's a nice guys and a great shooter.
The Open Match was very tough, lots of hard cover and no shoots and B zones in the middle of open targets. You really needed to know how to switch gears. The Standards had you shooting weak hand unsupported (Virginia count) at 15m Partials and 25m full targets. For the LPR Nationals they just changed some start positions and a couple of arrays. There were no real speed shoots but the average round count for the stages was 20 rounds and there was only a couple that were around 29/30.
