Using 20g o/u for waterfowl? Y/N?

That is the only think I use, 20g is good but mind your distance and be a good shot. My friend has 12g I 20g and I shoot more ducks then him, I do practice more

It's a bit of a pain using a hinge gun in a layout blind...

I never had an issue with it, but then I have been told the 20 is too small for geese !:(
I use a little O/U FAIR that hammers decoyed geese and diucks all day !:D

Farthest shot that morning was 40 yards, closest was less than 20 feet.
I have made 50 yard quartering away shots on geese with this particular shotgun, but like to try and keep them inside 30 yards.
I was using 3" Kent Fasteel #2's.

Love the 20 on geese, I am running a Mossberg 500. Favorite shell, 3" 7/8oz, #1's, run about 1450fps. Choke is a Carlsons Light Mod. The shell is more than capable to smash a goose at 30+ yards.

Oh, the chokes!
I have since gone to Trulock extended chokes, but the ones Ii have in the pic are factory FAIR chokes, and they would be IC/MOD
I like open chokes for steel, and reverse my chokes for shooting geese - mod first, and IC for the longer shots.
