Smith and Wesson Model 46

Damn near unfired.

I scored it last week, and wow. What a shooter. 25yys from a rest, 9 shots into a dime (all the same hole) and 1 flyer because I heeled the gun.

Called S&W today, and learned from Roy (their historian) that the 46 is quite a rare bird in unmolested condition.

I am in love. Rimfire Nirvana!

7" barrel plus the barrel weight sure makes it handle and feel like my racegun!

Funny thing.. I had to talk to Roy at S&W , their historian. Interesting that he noted some early production guns might have escaped with the wooden ones.


Now all i need is another 46 or a 41 to complete my rimfire addiction.
