I've been half-azzed looking for a Nikon M-223 Rifle scope since I first read about it in a magazine early spring.

I really like the idea that its is a scope that is 'designed' around the .223/556 rnd. with bullet drop already calculated for the recticle and with the adjustable zero stop turrets I think its a good fit for my .223 bolt gun.

The model I am particularly intereseted in is M-223 with a BDC 600 Recticle model # 8489.

I found a couple of places in the states that will ship it up here but if I can find it in Canukistan I would prefer to go that way........ Unless of course its double the price.....

Thanks a bunch.

I thought I saw one in the EE recently. Mysticplayer may be able to help you out also.

I wish they were here, but my last talk with a Nikon rep was no.

but on a good side at least it's not a total loss. Nikon Canada is getting in the Nikon Coyote / predator scopes and it also works on the .223 & .22-250 platforms. I'm all over this for now.

A friend of mine has one on a Benelli MR1. At first blush I kinda thought "it's no AR".

After shooting it I was "I'm sellin all my AR's and buying one of these!"

Long story short I should have asked him where he got the scope.....

We do not list our individual riflescopes on our website, as we carry far too many models, and individual options change far too regularly to keep up with. To that end, we do list the manufacturers that we carry. When searching for any specific item, we ask that you visit the manufacturer's website and make note of the catalogue/product number for that item. With this information we can provide retail pricing and availability for you.

The Nikon M223 riflescope (cat #8489) is in stock, and priced at $510.00 + taxes.

New Order Form online

If you wish to purchase these items, please visit our website and view the new electronic order form listed under the Purchases and Procedures tab on the left-hand side of the main page.

Note that all firearms and ammunition purchases do require your PAL license number and expiry date included on that form.

At least we are getting closer to seeing these scopes. Nikon Canada now has the Coyote Special rifle scope, which works on the 55gr bullet. I just mounted mine last week.

How does that one compare to the M-223 BDC 600?

I saw a custom jobbie at a local G-show this weekend that I almost bought. A 10x scope with a rectical to range coyotes and foxes and then hashes for ranges up to 600y. The only reason I didn't bother is I am going to mostly be shooting P-dogs and gophers so I am looking more for a general purpose rangeing type scope.

The reason I like the 'idea' of the Nikon is the fact it is built around the .223 round and all the figureing and holdover etc. is already done. All I would have to do is laze for range and then start 'plinking'.

Cheers!

from what I understand from reading the manual is the Coyote Special is more ment for the 400 yd mark & under. right now I don't have the time to test it.

Ya I like it too, that is why I ordered a M-223 with the BDC. the warrenty does worry me as I have heard nightmares about warrenty even on Canadian models.

personally if I had the money I would just get a custom shop Loupold done on the 223round.
