I was out shooting my new Para Ordnance GI Expert last night, and had about 5 occurences (in it's first 300 rounds) of failing to feed the last cartridge from the mag into the chamber. It feeds it in but jams.

I experienced this with both the stock Para mags the come with the gun, plus my Wilson Combat Elite mags ...so I do not think it is a magazine issue...and this only happens on the very last round in the mag.

Do you guys think this is just a "breaking in" issue ... or other ?

Any advice appreciated.

Can be ammo related.
No brake in issues with my cheap norinco some how...
but I had similar issue with a glock 17, it went away after 600 rounds or so

That's disappointing. Is it reloaded ammo? Have you used the same ammo successfully in other guns? My Para Gi expert has run 100% so far, only about 200 rounds, but still. Hope you find a fix.

Actually I was shooting new factory ammo (Federal AE 230gr FMJ)..and have not had any FTE/FTFs with my other 1911 Commander using the same batch of ammo...only problem is with the Para.

I guess I will just put in a few hundred more rounds thru it and see if the problem goes away.

Otherwise I really like the Para. It feels great in my hand...and was shooting very accurately with it.
