Dont take this as gospel, but I don't think there are any field length barrels that fit a defender because of the extended tube mag. The mounting ring on the longer barrels won't line up. I've had a defender for years and tried to get a slug barrel for it a long time ago, and this is what I ran into.

You used to be able to get an adapter that screwed onto the defender magazine tube. It was like a sleeve that went over the tube enabled you install and tighten a standard barrel on an defender. E-gun parts used to have them but I don't see them anymore. It may be something difficult to find. Winchester 1200/1300 barrels themselves are getting scarce.

EDIT- Found it

ok perfect, so i just buy that then a 1300 barrel orrr???
lol

Yes. Standard barrel from a winchester with a 4 shot magazine tube. You place the standard field barrel on the defender. The magazine will extend well past the barrel lug of the field barrel. The adapter then threads onto the defender magazine tube, sleeves it, and and butts against the securing lug of the field barrel.
