Try taking the pics from farther away and baby Jesus implores you to make them smaller, too.

And no, that doesn't look right.

Sure those globs aren't just spatter from the welding in the manufacturing process?

I can't see anything wrong with that bolt, from looking at mine. The pic does suck, tho.

I don't think there is anything wrong here. Does it function fine?

Is it a CZH 2003 or a CZ 858?

I don't believe the globs on the bottom of the receiver are out of place on a 2003. The thing that moves back and forth is the ejector, and it shouldn't move at all.

I'm pretty sure my bolt face is round in profile and doesn't have that notch out of it. Maybe that's just the way the CZH 2003 bolts are? I've never looked closely at one but I think I recall someone posting that they had to mill out the bolt from an 858 part kit to put it into a 2003.

this is a CZ 858 from wolverine, dose anyone have a picture of their bolt....

Steve the notch in picture 1 dose move a bit.

Last I fired it, it worked fine, minus all the rust removal I just had to do.

Please try new pics one more time:

For CLOSE UP pictures... select MACRO (it's the icon that looks like a FLOWER).

I just took a look at my 858's.

Your bolt and receiver are normal. My ejectors have a bit of movement, but not as much as yours.

If the ejector won't fall out and the rifle still works, I'd just shoot it. If the ejector bothers you a lot, just stake it in place.

OK I watched your video and took my new (maybe 6-700shots in) 858tac2 from moreguns apart.
First off the welding is evident in mine as well, looks like it's normal.
My ejector does have a little play in it, but yours seems to be moving around a little too much. But hey if it ejects don't worry about it.
And yes there is a ridge on the right side under the bolt.

With regards to the ejector
Mine is peened in, maybe you can peen yours a bit more with a hardened punch.

Also I dont think your bolt should have a crack in it where the striker rides.
