My marlin papoose is ok, pretty standard marlin sights but with a day glow front post, and my savage cub has a nice little peep site, if a bit large front post.
What do you guys like for shooting iron sites on your rimfires?
I find them a lot more fun to shoot and may be looking at a new one soon.

I have a set of williams firesights on my 1022. They are nice and bright on a sunny day and even when they dont shine in low light they shape is still pretty decent.

What a timely posting - I have finally decided I need to replace the original irons on my Cooey Model 78. For some reason, in order to shoot straight, the front sight needs to hang 3/16th of an inch off to the right of the barrel. I would like to replace the original irons (no peep sight - just the spot for one) and need some advice.

I'm heading to see Gerry at GMK later this week and want some ideas to bounco off him.

Thanks

Scotty

Lyman,Redfield,Parkerhale,Marbles these are all great all steel peeps sights of yester year! They are solid and quality built, if you can get something to work buy it as the money is well spent. Today I would get ahold of a N.E.C.G peep sight made for 11mm or 3/8" dovetail rails, this is the best made and availabe today. If you want a compact made to order sight for reasonable price I would contact Skinner sights, great guy to deal with, hope this help, Dale Z
