Will my 10/22 target barrel work in my sr-22 without any or little mods?

By "target" barrel...do you mean a .920" bull barrel?

The SR is a 10/22 receiver wrapped in a AR shroud and will fit any 10/22 barrel. But you will need a new barrel support block, I was told not to free float the barrel (install without block) but other will tell you differently as well.

The barrel on my ruger 10/22-T. Its the heavy barreled version from the factory, im not sure what the barrel diameter is.

Yup....she'd be a .920"
