Mcmillan stock

can't think of a more overrated stock pattern. Comb too low for a good stock weld, and heavy, for what you get. I'd consider a classic, or one of the A series if you insist on Mcmillan. I'd order a KISS or Tac from Robertson Composites if it were me though.

I am just wondering how you would get a Robertson into the U.S. It would be a great market, McMillan would probably end up buying them out in order to get them the hell out of America though...lol.

I'd agree on the low comb, but it's a general purpose stock so it's kind of a tradeoff versus a prone-centric style a2-5. As for weight, you can get your choice of fill. I had one that was actually quite light.
I've got an a2 on one of current rifles now and love it, but still needed a cheekrest to bring up the stock a bit.
