Dark earth the same as black?

I found a stock I want and it only come in dark earth, my question is will it match the rest of my AR or is dark earth a different colour?

Yep, its the new "tan/coyote brown" color.


I have tried a tan color cheek piece on my USC/UMP Magpul stock, and I liked the contrast it had.
