First restricted transfer too fast? How to check my registrations?

Hi,

I just got my PAL, and ordered a restricted handgun online. Much to my surprise, I got a shipping notification that the handgun is already in the mail, and that happened within 24 hours of placing the order. This being my first restricted gun (actually, my first ever gun), I was expecting the transfer and registration to take longer than 1 day, I live in Ontario after all!

My question: is there any place I can call, and after they verify it is me (licence number, etc..), to tell me if I already have something registered on my name or not. I just hope the seller didn't send me a handgun before completing the transfer...

What dealer did you order from?

I know some dealers can call the CFO and get this approved quickly.
 
I bought a Colt LE6920 from CRAFM and from when he started the transfer and to when I got it was 2-3 days with shipping. Dont call and complain because it was to fast lol...
