Any ideas on the new Iver Johnson 1911?

I was looking at the STI-Spartan and Rock Island Armory but now I saw that the new Iver Jonson's are available in Canada. Any thoughts?

My thought is that they are made in the Philipines at the same place as the Spartan.

So, they are the same but different.

No, read my post in the other thread, they are made in Mandaue/Cebu by SMA.

So, at the factory in the Philipines, is Armscor the front door and SMA the back door, or visa-versa?

I think they are different entities. Just a few good 1911 makers in the Philippines.
