Shorty .22

We just got them in at the shop I work at, They are actually quite well put together and a lot smoother then I expected. I remember the last batch of JW-15's that came in and they were really gritty feeling. these are nice and smooth, buying one tomorrow in fact. Havent made up a price but I believe they are around $189 or $199.

It wasn't CanadaAmmo who brought them in as far as I know (We don't deal with CA), I'm not going to say what distributer is bringing them in as its a dealer forum but ask at your local gunshop as they probably got a flyer for this gun a couple months ago.

Anyway, good buy for sure. they dont feel cheap like the Mossberg plinksters. Very solid.

So, are they Norinco or another "brand"?

They're from Norinco. Literally a norinco jw-15 chopped down to a 13'' barrel length. The ones in Bathurst come with a 5 round magazine but you can purchase 10 rounders right there at the shop. They sell the rifles for approximately 230$.

I test fired 3 of these for my friends gunshop, the first one was Whargouls and it shot 8 of the ten shots of mixed old ammo we keep for test firing at the shop into at abou 1/2" at 14 metres and about and inch at 20metres. This was just with the open sights. I helped a fellow who bought 2 of these for his grand kids with 4X Leapers scopes and they shot 1/4" and less at 14 metres with CCI st vel. ammo. My friends shop will have 16 more in stock in a couple weeks if your interested? cheers Dale in T-Bay

OOWWW I own two plinksters Goul LOL

I thought it was a kids model when I checked it out the other night but was quickly corrected. I do agree with you though, it is a very solid and smooth little gun.

With the T97 thing going on right now, I am ashamed that there are people bashing CanAm. They did their best while trying to get the RCMP off their asses for 3 or more different things. I think if they are worth waiting for, they are worth waiting a long time for.
