An ounce or so of #6 or 7 1/2 is all you need.
Here where I am they are tough buggers to take down. I've used 3" #6 on them at 25 yards and just knocking feathers off them.

Trap loads in 7 1/2 or 8 shot. Nothing more is needed as crows are not tough. Trick is to get them in close as taking hail mary shots only educates a whole pile of crows for the few that are downed. Remember, pattern not power kills...

I highly doubt your crows are any tougher. If you are feathering them at 25 yards using Turkeyloads you need some more practice.

He mentioned shooting 3inch shells loaded with 6's, as far as I know turkey loads are the only shells available with size 6 shot in a 3 inch shell. Neither he or I mentioned Turkey chokes.
I like #5's or #6 1.25 ounce lead shot. I've used 7 1\2 or 8's and they work but after a bit the crows get smarter and start to fly a bit higher. The 5's or 6's help with that bit extra range. Using a improv mod choke out of my mossy 535

For the 400 yard shots I love my 25-06 other then that I got my baikal ij58 stoked with my reloads or my 535ats with a custom 4xfull choke for when they're up there my reloads are 7/8s oz #8 at 1400fps. I kill over a thousand a year aint nuttin better then killin them useless basterds

7 1/2 cheap shells work great. Save money on shells by investing in decoys. Learn to use decoys and camo effectively and you can blast them at 5 yards, not 25. Once you've shot a few, keep the dead ones around for a few days to make your decoy spread look bigger!

We have used 410's a lot with 6 or 7 1/2 shot. It's a lot of fun! Once you get one on the ground, spread it out so it's visible to other crows. They come in screaming like crazy at the bird on the ground. Try to get a few more like this before they all bugger off.
