Hello

I was looking to buy a barrel for my CVA Apex in the States and have it sent to Canada. My understanding is I have to this barrel shipped to someone with a FFL license who is also a dealer who can complete they appropriate paper work. Just wondering if anyone can recommend someone close to Hamilton. I tried Buffalo Guns Center and for some reason they seem to not want to take possession of a CVA Apex barrel.

Thanks,

1st the barrel manufacture has to be registerd for exports

2nd you need a us licensed person/bussiness to export it to you

3rd you need to get a canadian import permit

Understand all this. However my understanding you need a FFL dealer to complete this all for you. Looking for a recommendation that someone has used in Buffalo.

Just checked, not always a ML.

You will need to send it to an exporter, who will also be an FFL.

It would help to know where you are located.

FFL is not on the list of requirements to be an exporter. Just a requirement if you want them to take delivery on a firearm.

Talked to Brownell's? Phone, don't email or try to order online. Ask for the exports person. They will know IF the goods can be exported, as well as what you need to provide them.

The first part is the key to the deal. If the company has not paid up to export, it does not matter a whit if the guy you talk to has the sigil of God on his ID card, or a FFL, the export isn't going to happen legally.

Cheers
