R55 ammo options?

What type of ammo does the R55 work well with? Just wondering if they digest 525rd bulkpacks (or similar) or does the rifle lean towards a higher grade of ammo?

525 Fed work well, STD velocity CCI works very well (<1MOA at 100 yards), Fiochi STD velocity works well too.

CCI standard in mine. Works great at 50 and 100 yards as well.

almost all cc1, any bullets that are tipped with ridges may give you fitsYou nneed to find smooth tipped bullets), took us 1000 rounds of cci to break ours in, now it loves eley sport and shoots 1/4 groups at 50 yards. wonderful gun. Some mag ramps are too steep and have to by filed down a bit as the push the tip of the bullet up too high 10 rounders especially. They are ammo fussy but be patient find the right ammo and it will soon become your favorite 22 by far. Ours are more accurate than our cz 452's.

If you don't own one you are missing out on one of the most accurate out of the boxes 22's for sale period. Ours are very very slightly less accurate than than the anschutz 54 action and much more accurate than the sako M78
