CZ Shadow Barrel Movement?

I just noticed while admiring my freshly cleaned pistol than when I rack the slide the barrel drops down and back a bit. Is this normal or did I fudge something up during reassembly?

No, you didn't break it. If the barrel did not drop a little, how would it unlock?

I guess I never really payed attention to how it slides or I just happened to think about it now!

Install barrel on frame without slide. Insert slide stop pin. Pull barrel up and forward the push it back. Notice how the kidney shaped cut in the barrel lug causes it to move around the pin. This is the most important part of the timing.

Yup...you need to fix this. Here is how
1) load mags
2) pull trigger (repeat 9 more times)
3) repeat as necessary
4) enjoy your CZ Shadow...it is my personal fave to shoot!
