Got a couple different "generations" of that Hensoldt. I wish I could combine the features to make the one, I like. This one doesn't have the adjustable eye/reticule focus, which I could use now that my eyes are in their '50s. But it does have the finer reticule elevation adjustment, so I'll stay with it.

Just picked up a couple of the reticule illumination 'thingies'. They are kinda flimsy though.
 
With the newer NV and Eotech. Got some lights attached, so we're crusin'.
Yup, ends up a bit front heavy, but just means I have to do a couple more curls.
The older PVS 502 is a great compromise and about $6000 cheaper.

@koldt: Wish I could lay my hand on one of those scopes, they really are nice (and comparable to what our infantry DMR's get issued)

True, but there are more used guns out there then in Canada

ex-army SIG 550 can be had for around 1'000.- Sfr, since many soldiers keep their service rifle after retiring from military service, just to sell it. I've seen them go for as little as 500 bucks.

My 551LB I got for 2'200.- brandnew.

Other things cost the same, like the CQB-models.

I can't find my digi-camera and my cell sucks but I put a leupold 1.5-5x20 scope on my sigarms 223 today ... she got too dark to go site her in unfortunately. It's calibrated for 5.56 62gr.
