Bushmaster ACR Canadian Pricing ***UPDATE Pg. 15***

Maybe because you'd be FUBARed if picked up on a stateside checkpoint?

Illegal.

FAIL

The guys at Buffalo Gun Center do all the paper work, and export it for you. You register it on our side, and they bring it to the border for you. You get it at Canadian customs, pay taxes, show your registration, and you are on your way!

I am thinking about doing it myself, with some of their used inventory!

Depends on the US state Department. If its got a flash hider or any of the other things on the "no-no" list then probably not.

Its supposedly marked "Multi-cal" so that eliminates the 5.56 deal, but the folding stock (if it has one) and the barrel (unless you get a muzzle brake attached state side)...

man, I remember back in the day when the XCR was the hottest rifle, everyone and their grandma's wanted one. I wonder how long this will last for the ACR ? lol

until then... sign me up :(

Ah no, I asked him once about the price. He said, "Around 2300, no more then 2600" Seems like a pretty straight forward answer to me. Normally if your not sure about price you keep your mouth shut. If the guy would've said I dont know yet, then I would have said fine.

WTF are you on? Why do I need to ask permission to post a price I was quoted? ...He was nice enough to give me info? are you for real? News flash bud, it's his f**king job to sell guns! Just so you know it was not email it was over the phone. In sales if you dont know something you keep your mouth shut, period. He gave me a price range and I passed the info along. It's not my fault he spouted off the wrong info and came in 1000 low. Give your head a shake. You act like this guy was doing me a favor by trying to sell me a gun.

I can understand why you're pissed but on the 24th I said this:

CRAFM has a sign up to pre-order the BACR (.223 marked ACR)...
It was something like $3199 but my memory might be failing.

Give them a call since it's not on their website...

So yeah somebody gave you the wrong info :p

Let me know how that works out for you, if you legally get it in the country before Questar I'll eat my words.

Lots of guys on here and at my club have done this multiple times! They claim a 3 - 6 week wait for all the paper work, and the best part is it only costs 100 dollars + 5% of the value of the gun! That is a fraction of what Questar or Daves is charging. Like I said these prices also apply to there used inventory, which means there are some amazing deals to be had. Especially when compared to the EE!

alot of my guns came from buffalo gun centre, i have imported a ar-15 though i did it myself, but i purchased a couple handguns this past year and they took 9 months to clear atf, is you imported pre obama then it was quick, it's almost faster to get a carry permit in ontario now!

Impossible, the guy with 108 posts knows what he is talking about regardless of the signs in Buffalo Gun Center advertising the service.

So you guys think these rifles will be in the $3000 range ? Pretty sweet rifle, would love one non-restricted in 7.62.

I agree.

FAIL, it is NOT Illegal.

Bunch of guys at my club talk about the deals (many of them) they get by calling Buffalo Gun Center then driving down to sign off.
Once you do it and get the hang of it, it is no different than buying a gun from any store.
Many people do it regularly. It is a 2 hour drive for me, lots of people it is even less.
Just the wait is longer.

I will do it when the time comes

make him eat his words :) because if what you say is true, then you need to start a firearms import business :D

ACR in 7.62x39, 10 mags, FDE, - the pimped out version with the folding stock.

New York state has its own assualt weapon ban - it will depend on if BM has a model that is state compliant, and approved by NY.

BGC shy's away from exporting "assault weapons" as the export certificates become much more complicated! They will not export AR's this I know, but will have to ask about the ACR. Last time I was there I was being pressured into doing it with the SUb 2000 but want to wait for a price from Vault for the Non-restricted version.
