tapco AR magazine disassembly

I just bought a few 5/30 tapco ar mags. for the life of me i cant figure out how to remove the floor plate. there doesn’t appear to be anything to push in, and it won't slide off sideways. even when i apply a lot of force

i must be missing something here. i tried searching the forms but didn’t really find much on this.

You need made a little hole on the floor plate (I put on the middle but better on the quarter), after you push the inside plate with a rod or little punch and slide the floor plate

Drilling slowly with a dremel tool or cordless drill with an appropriately sized drill bit will get it done.
