well im working up my 10/22 into a little tacticool plinker

pics are coming, just waiting for the final components, just couldnt resist sharing the ideas with you guys.. and perhaps revising the build depending on your comments

parts:
-10/22 blue sythn
-Choate Dragunov style stock
-UTG rail system
-black dog extended mag release
-tac bolt knob
-Magpul AFG
-Red dot of some sort ( cant decide between Vortex Strikefire or some kind of cheaper brand.. afterall its only a .22 )
-Magpul MBUS
-VFC AN/PEQ15 ( airsoft rip.. but its got adjustable laser and LED flash + pressure switch )
-NcStar 10/22 ar style muzzle brake ( to tame that Furious recoil )
-Choate cheek riser for the stock
-Daniel Defense QD sling swivel ( rail mounted )
-Viking Tac Coyote quick adjust 2pt sling

the barrell will also be cut from 18" down to 13 or 14" ( im almost leaning on 12 though .. just for cool factor )

-stock, and rails will all get a coat of Coyote/dark earth camo
-accessories will be done in Coyote with exception of the mounting ring for the Strikefire
-stock and barrell will be left black but the brake will be in coyote

what do you guys think ?
p.s if i could have an AR stock setup i would, but cant cos of NZ dense gun laws

Sounds cool. Very different laws in NZ vs. Canada. Here you can't cut down the barrel shorter than 18". But no AR type stocks for you?

we cant have a free standing pistol grip on our standard semiauto firearms ( A-category ).. and we arent allowed to put a pistol grip on an A-cat semiauto firearm, as the firearms has to actually be registered as E-cat ( restricted ) in the first place, to be allowed the features

(1) I think you're darn lucky to live in a country that allows suppressors!

(2) I think you're smart not to live in Australia ;) , where the 10/22 is banned outright....:(

(3) I think you have a sweet setup going :) , and I wonder if you are allowed Tapco stocks?

1) you gotta give a little to take a little though

2) i wouldn't live on the Penal colony if you paid me :D Dregs of the empire

3)No tapco stocks .. they are free standing pistol grip. If we could i would be all over them like white on rice

still missing the AN/PEQ15 and the BUIS

I think that's way cooler than all these M16 wannabee 10/22s out there.
What's not to like, short, lot's of mounting options, I mean shiiiiit... that is a sweet little piece.

not sure of the LOP, but it had a spacer which i removed because its actually longer than i prefer for a gun this small.. and im a big guy.. so if ur little.. its probably not the stock for you..

to be honest, a stock with an AR butt and grip would really make this, but alas.. we too have laws that make no sense
