7.62x39 by mail???

LeBaron sells them at about $246 after taxes for a case of 1200.

I had ordered from Marstar in the past and was charged about $275 after taxes and shipping for a case of 1120.
 
Woodbeef hit the nail on the head, Trade-Ex just got in a big load of 7.62x39, both SP and FMJ, and they're a great bunch to deal with also. Cheers.
 
I also bought 1200 rounds from MoreGunsSupply last week. Great prices and fast shipping, but sort of disappointed I didn't get to keep the big wooden crate as well. Depending on its dimensions, I would have turned mine into a very exotic kind of wine storage.

Anyone can enlighten me as to the actual size of the 1120-round crate?
 
Ammo crates are to small, only room for a couple of bottles. What you need is a wooden case that the SKS came in enough space for several case of wine, Prefair Surplus is Beloeil should have some.
 
Yeah I figured you couldn't fit so many in one box but still, it'd make for some amusing and eccentric wine storage. I'll look into the SKS boxes but really it doesn't really matter. It was mostly a way to recycle a nice wooden box.
