TC Encore comes through again. :)

245 lb. (dressed) 9 Point. 40 yard shot, +80 yard recovery.
Don't know how he made it that far...the Precision Rifle 300gr Keith-nose bullet almost split his heart into 2 pieces.

Opening morning of Ont. gun hunt...1/2 hour in....season's done.

LOL...Lets just say, BAD shooting position + creeping the scope =
But it was worth it. :D

Nice deer. Are you in the big buck contest?
Yup..current leader by 30 lbs.

245 Dressed? Just the guts out? How much with Hide, heels and head off? But Nice . . .
"Field Dressed" means, guts out. Head, hide, and feet remain.
He will probably weigh just under 200 lbs on the hook at the butcher.

nice buck.
i haven't gotten any pics of bucks at all this year. buddy let a can opener walk opening morning and i've let about a dozen does walk the last two days. we'll see how it goes in the next couple of days, the bucks have to come around those does at some point and i'll be waiting.....

i know what you mean. i was sighting in my new rem 870 super slug on the weekend and first shot the leupy ultimateslam slamed me right above the eye and i have a 2" gash that probably could have used a few stitches.(but i didn't want to have to explain myself at my place of work!!!) i feel your pain.

It's a great buck anyway you look at it. What I can't figure out is how you only have about 4" of water in your swamp? I need hipwaders to make it to my honey hole.... Lucky SOB!
