On my new Savage 93 MkII F class trainer, the slope in the comb is way too much for scope use so I got a TACPRO adj check rest to try.

Well molded, great shape, easy to install with very nice hardware.

It stays put and is easily adjustable for height and slope. Workes great and I will be installing these on other rifles.

For those with factory stocks and big scopes, this rest might just be what you need to get comfortable on your stock. I enjoyed this product so much, I have decided to become a dealer. Will have pricing up on my website shortly but PM or email with questions or interest.

I love mine. Tacpro was having issues with their website when I purchased mine, it was worth the hastle!

I installed two of TacPro's cheek rests both on HS precision stocks. One was on a Remington Sendero and the other on a Savage LRPV. They both are great a great fit and finish.

The TACPRO works better on a stock without a molded in cheek piece.

Shooter----/, it should fit on the Hogue was you dont have a molded cheek piece and the contour is pretty close to standard. I don't have a hogue here so can't confirm.

I bought 2, one for my HS and one for my M14. I have only installed the HS one but it was easy and it works well, much more comfortable to shoot now, no hunting around for the right spot. The only minor thing I would change is the shiny stainless steel bolts, my gun is all black and they look out of place.

I've been thinking about something like this for a new Savage 10PC .223............what is involved in installing/mounting one of these? Is it just a couple holes cross way through the stock & run some bolts through? What's the ball park price?

Drill two holes for the cross bolt and that's it. Just make sure the drill goes through square.

I am charging $49 plus ship and tax.

Just put another on my Savage tactical rifle and will have pics up shortly.

TacPro has been super; during my January Barrie Clinic they donated one for a door prize draw! Great fun!

I was impressed with the quality. Kinda like those molded in bumps to keep things parallel. :D

Installation is dead easy! Anyone can do it! That's the beauty! Lots cheaper than shelling out lots of after-tax $$ for a McMillan stock and their well engineered cheek piece!

Cheers,
Barney
