Shot this one Saturday night
I was watching a Doe all day when just before quitting time he came up the north trail
had to take him straight on about 60 yards

Made it out Monday evening and this morning saw about 15 deer took two shots and missed both times. Will be heading out again on thursday to set up along a well used deer trail, hoping to get some good shots then.

Good luck. And I was sorry to see the results of the election. It looked like you had a good run at it.

Thanks. It looks like its pretty hard for an independant to win in our ward. I'm proud of what we achieved as a family effort, no endorsements, no party backing, just a lot of knocking on doors.

Success. Shot a medium sized doe along the edge of a field. Day was near ending and odds seemed I wouldn't have seen anything else. Bad news, had to drag it 300 yards through a wet muddy field. Might go out again Saturday.

Maby hit up the target range also. Maby your rifle needs sighting in?
Good luck.

I went with a neighbor gunless last weekend as just plain company. Of course my wife calls on my cell( I know I should have turned it off) the moment we walked up on a nice sized buck 75 yards north of our position. Oddly enough the buck could care less about the ringtone and lined up nicely for my neighbor's leisurly shot. No deer for me yet this year, but it has been fun seeing more than usual this year.

Today is the last day for the Manitoba muzzleloader season except for the special late muzzleloader/shotgun season in WMA 33. Thanks to all that posted. I shot a mid size doe back on the first weekend of the season (sorry no pics). Its sausage now in my freezer. :D

...now onto general rifle!
