Hi, I am a newbie. I am looking for someplace to try my new guns. Does anyone knows where around Montreal we can discharge a few rounds without any trouble? Not private land, Not shooting range.

why would you want to go shooting in a sand pit when you can have a range with targets and a safe backstop for $15.00??????????

Ruisseau Noir in Terrebonne or Club Pionnier inl'Assomption for $20.00.
this one is open all year round

Thanks for your reply. It means we can use the facilities in a shooting club even without membership, right? I thought the clubs will only accept people with membership.

Isn't that $15 PER rifle? Which is ridiculous, why on earth do these ranges charge per rifle? does it really matter if you bring one, or 10 rifles?

And then you have the bulls**t rules that come with the fee.

I'm also trying to find maps of crown land which has proven to be a ##### and a half, willing to pay $$ if someone can hook me up :)

Safety rules are not bulls**t rules. I do believe in them. I'm quite aware that you can't do what you'd like to but guess what kind of publicity it would give us to have an accident at a shooting range without those rules. I do believe we have a good track record and i'd hate to see it ruined because of some idiot who thought the bull s**t rules didn't apply to him

And by the way guns and alcohol don't mix
