Okay the search function has some information on these but it is a little older. Now that these have been on the market for awhile I'm wondering how much people like them.

How is the avalibility of magazines and which holsters fit?

I love the ergonomics of it, but won't get a chance to shoot one before buying. I heard prices of $599 but can't seem to find a deal like that anywhere. Wanstall's has them for $699. good deal?

It comes with a really gritty and rough trigger. But it either smoothens up after about 500 rounds or you can go inside and do some of the detail smoothing work found on the web.

I'm not partial at all to plastic guns since carrying isn't a big deal for us Canucks. So the weight advantage is actually more of a disadvantage since it results in more kick to the hand.

If you're after a sweet deal on a nice shooting gun Wanstalls has Baby Eagles on sale for $599 just now. I'd take one of those over the P-07 in a blink. But then I prefer heavy metal guns such as my Shadow.

2 weeks ago I saw the P-07 Duty for 599. @ Lever Arms in Vancouver. Price went back up already. You can can and try to negotiate for that price again

In that price range, I would seriously consider the Ruger SR-9, Glock 17 or even CZ's own 75...... far nicer guns, in my opinion.

I have tried the PO-7 and found it kind of chinzy. (I am not biased at all against CZ, I own 4 of them)

Just picked mine up today, really like the gun, racking it is rough but that will smooth out as will the trigger pull, as compared to the trigger of the Ruger sr9 the trigger is a long way away from the handle so the ruger is much better for smaller hands as its easier to reach the tirgger , the Cz point naturally and I expect it to be every bit as accurate as its steel brothers as the slide still rids on the inside of the frame. The gun feels good and can't wait to shoot it. My wife prefers the feel of the sig p226.

p-o7 duty

I ve put over 3500 rds thru mine no probs, got rid of factory sights for adj rear an fibreoptic front, the trigger has smoothed out to 3.5 lbs in single action so no complaints here.

Got one, love it.

Very few options for a hammer operated DA/SA mid-size, unless you want to fork out double the price for a sig229.

The grip fits me superb, I like slim/ergonomic grips and this is one of the main points I found great about this gun. I'm very accurate with this pistol, more so than I expected. Double trigger like all guns is somewhat heavy, single trigger is fabulous, as it comes with the omega trigger system and it all smooths out after 500 or so rounds. Will feed anything you want, from +p to HP of all flavours and varieties. Canadian version comes stock with MANUAL SAFETY, you have to buy the decocker if you want. THis gun allows very easy swap of the two, but I prefer teh manual safety anyways, not many of the newer guns allow you to be fully cocked and locked anymore with a single action first shot.

Upgraded to a stainless guide rod. CZ makes holsters for them now but Blackhawk serpa holsters for the XD fit 90% and that is what I use.

Yes mags are available, I have 5 mags total, but they can be a pain to find.

Other than that, there are other guns available in this range like the SR9, glocks, XD, MP's blah blah blah blah blah blah.

BUT, they are all striker fired.

I bought this gun with specific intentions on having a DA/SA hammer fired mid-size. The market is just chock full of plastic glocks, steyrs, m+P etc. if having a hammer isn't a requirement otherwise.

P07 sights

What sights did you put on it? I would like to get a set of tritium night sights. The CZ USA site shows a plastic Meprolite site, but they will not ship to Canada. Trijicon makes sights for CZ pistols, but no one seems to know if they will fit the P07. Any one have this info?

I really like mine. I took it to the range a couple of weeks ago and all that tried it were impressed. Even the guy with big hands liked it!
