I'm a true fan of Leupold; the warranty is about the best in the business, and if you ever need to use it, the turnaround time is apparently no more than 3 weeks. I have a 2-7X compact on my 30-06, and it's my favorite scope. I personally would stay away from any of the european scopes due to the possibility of a long wait if the warranty is ever needed.

Kahles, will last you a lifetime.
Kahles blows Bushnell, Nikon, Burris and Leopold away. Probably why it's a Military quality scope.
The European scopes do have canadian distributors and service centers.
The COnquest ine is actually assembled in the U.S.
