Compact Pistols in Canada? What's Best?

what is smaller glock 17 or ruger sr9?

There are some reviews on youtube comparing the two pistols. I have both and I like the overall feel of the SR9 compared to the glock. They are basically the same size and weight. The glock feels like you are holding a 2x2 piece of wood instead of a pistol. Try both pistols before you buy and you will see what I mean.........

I used to have an STI Ranger, and it was quite compact. It also packed a good punch, in 45 auto., and was easy to control. I'd take a hard look at the new Iver Johnson commander size. It looks exactly like the Ranger, for around half the price.

That Sig 1911 carry gun seemed tiny.

x2 on this. Just bought the C3 compact and it is a BEAUTIFUL pistols. I love Sigs and this gun has to be my fav. I also have a p239 which is very compact aswell. Take a look around for this pistol, you will not be dissapointed. C3 is a .45acp and the p239 is a 9mm, so you do have options.

Questar has a couple SIG 1911's in stock

Including a sweet 1991 C3 RCS model. Which has the anti-snag treatment.

another vote for the H&K P7M8, carried one on the job for approx 6 years and was fortunate enough to pick one up for a fantastic price.

Yes expensive but well worth the money.smitty223

Well they are still available cheap in the States ( around $350-$400) so add a couple hundred for import costs and you could order one for around $600-$700

Or post a WTB in the E.E. because they are out there....

I have one of these and love it. Pretty much minimum length and single stack 8 and 10 round factory mags available.
