Limited opportunity to test fire the LMT MRP .308 carbine, recoil was very controllable and the ability to stay on target was very easy, I only had a chance to fire 80rds today, but am very pleased with the carbine so far. I did change the stock out to a Magpul CTR with enhanced recoil pad, and have on order a hydraulic buffer from Enidine in 3 1/4" for the AR10 buffertube.

Carbine refers to the length of the rifle, not the length of the round.

No doubt. The T1, as nice a red dot as it is, might be a little under-kill for a MWS.
