They should make a Porsche 1911. I think it would be their top model. ...and it comes with matching 1911's :D

ha i'm such an idiot! i was having so much trouble figuring this out. Ha I read it as "I have had two 1911's" ha. I was like i thought this guy liked Sigs! Or maybe he has the Sig 1911......... what tires, brake pads wtf!!? Then i realized it said 911's in reference to the Porche lol. f:P:2:

I bought a Sig Sauer 1911... It does come close to being as nice as the P226.

I don't make love to my sig, I lubricate the mag well!

yes I agree ...everybody loves SIGs, but only few bought it and shoot the hell out of it ...!!!
my SIG P226 Elite Stainless has aprox 9K on board and had no problems at all, it's one of my range working horses!
the crazy thing just keep on shooting every time I pull the trigger, no matter what ammo I feed it.

That shows how much you don't know. I have had 2 911's over the last 11 years. They have required the regular stuff like tires, break pads, shocks & oil...

Neither has ever been in the shop for more than a few hours of maintenance. A number of my friends own them also with the same results. Porsche's are Bullet Proof!!! You have just exposed your ignorance.

Nice try though :D

Ah, sorry... I'll never have the money to afford a Porsche, or have friends who have them, so I must admit to ignorance from personal experience.(!)

;)

But, in all seriousness, I do know from personal experience that Porsches are NOT bullet proof - I've seen handgun projectiles go straight through them!

yeah i've never had a problem running jacketed.... so definitely something to be said for that particular batch of ammo. Also something to be said for all the Sig/Glock reliability hype perhaps. Maybe that's a good example of them cycling imperfect ammo..... who knows. f:P:2:

No, I haven't run lead through it - probably won't as I personally find cleaning lead from the bore a real pain. It sounds more like your reloads were excess OAL, or otherwise maybe not to good specs?

Yeah who knows, we're pretty careful in making things to spec, but in saying that anything is possible. We just thought it was odd that the M&P was the only gun of ours that wouldn't cycle them. Good call on staying away from lead with your M&P though, it is a pain to clean that's for sure........
