Shooting in Detroit. We had fun. Hope to do it again soon. You can buy an american made AK pistol version for $1800 US or a AK47 rifle for about $600 over there. I love taking pics so here are some. I posted these in a few other posts as well. Any questions, just ask or check out my other posts-I have more info there.

Very cool. Its funny how the opportunity of a lifetime for a Canadian is just another one in the safe for an American. Anyways congrats, I hope to do the same someday.

I almost wept when I watched the video of that redneck firing an AK until the stock was ON FIRE... we can't even hope to get one, and he's just going to chuck it on the trash heap. *sob*

That looks like fun, the AK looks nice. I'd like to have the display case in the pics down in my basement, I'm starting to drool like Homer Simpson.:D:D

Krinkov are indeed VERY desirable guns ! So unfortunate Laws in Canada are prohibiting them ! Thanks for sharing with us ! :D

You are very lucky to have a chance to shoot these babies. I wish I could try one of those some day. Must be lots of fun ! Specially in full auto mode !

Here is mine, Altough it is all steel and wood it is only a TOY :( It is the closest thing I could managed to own LEGALLY .

Sigh....I remeber in the '80's when all the Chi-Com AK's started coming over. I had one in .223 and a couple in 7.62x39 as well as a RPK with a 90rd mag....., $450 four regular cap mags and you could go shoot them anywhere. I miss those days.
