I'm new to shooting and reloading. There's lots of gear to collect up but in the mean time, it doesn't hurt to play around with ideas for cheap options. Not sure if anyone else tried this but this is what I came up with.
I drive approx 500 kms a week in a highway/city routine with alot of bumps in the road. I gave some thought to how can I use this to my advantage.
Here's what I came up with: a recycled rotating/vibrating tumbler: Free
I placed this in the trunk of my car with brass in the coffee can on it's side like in the pic (crushed sea shells for media) wedged the box between junk so it was in a kinda fixed location.
Brass before 500 kms:
Brass after 500 kms of stop and go traffic and many bumps in the road:
It doesn't come out very clear in the photos but there was a visible improvement with the brass. There was a bit more shine to it.
With the radio on you can't hear the can flop back and forth
Obviously this method isn't for a high volume shooter but great for me and the once a month I get out (process 50 a week).
I'm sure other brand diaper boxes and coffee cans may work as well
Hope you enjoyed.
